Shakespeare's Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the original Globe Theatre where many of Shakespeare's plays were first performed. Open-air performances run from April to October, with groundling tickets available from just a few pounds. The indoor Sam Wanamaker Playhouse runs year-round, lit entirely by candlelight.
